Who We Are
Ready, Resilient, and Rising! (R3!) is a San Francisco Bay Area collaboration transforming how care is delivered for young children and families. We bring together families, providers, and public systems' leaders to share power, align funding, and co-create trauma-informed, family-centered solutions. At the heart of our work is the Family Accountability Board (FAB), where parents and caregivers directly impacted by these systems guide decisions and help shape sustainable change.
Through innovative models of healthcare for 0–5 year olds, capacity building for providers, and a collaborative multi-sector systems working group, we break down silos and demonstrate how family-driven solutions can increase access to services for all families and children.
Our Mission & Vision
Mission: Co-create solutions through a family lens—remaking systems to be compassionate, equitable, and rooted in the lived experiences of those they serve. We work every day to humanize healthcare and early childhood systems, ensuring they fulfill their intended purpose: to truly support families and communities in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Vision: A community where every child thrives because they received supportive care.
What We Do & Why We Do This Work
R3! brings together community voices, research-driven insights, and multidisciplinary expertise to build equitable, family-centered systems of care. R3! aims to foster supportive relationships at all milestones of early childhood care through:
- transformative primary care models focused on 0-5 year olds and their families
- training for physicians on early relational health and social well being, and
- a collaborative multi-sector working group focused on systems of care for ages 0-5
At the heart of our work is family wisdom. Systems can only change in ways that truly meet families’ needs when people who are most affected by those systems are at the table, shaping decisions and guiding priorities. By combining this perspective with research, clinical, and administrative expertise, we create solutions that are equitable, sustainable, and grounded in real-world impact for children 0–5 and their families.
