What We Do and Why We Do This Work
R3! brings together community voices, research-driven insights, and multidisciplinary expertise to transform how systems support families and children. R3! aims to foster supportive relationships at all milestones of early childhood care through:
- transformative primary care models focused on 0-5 year olds and their families
- training for physicians on early relational health and social well being, and
- a collaborative multi-sector working group focused on systems of care for ages 0-5 called the Toxic Stress Network Improvement Collaborative (TONIC)
At the heart of our work is family wisdom. Systems can only change in ways that truly meet families’ needs when those most affected are at the table, shaping decisions and guiding priorities. By combining this perspective with research, clinical, and administrative expertise, we create solutions that are equitable, sustainable, and grounded in real-world impact for children 0–5 and their families.
